Follow Friday is an opportunity to discover and follow other book related blogs! Want to join? Check it out at Parajunkee.
This week's question feature is from Book’d Out
Q: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?
My Answer: I avoid 'Horror' at all costs as I am a total wimp. I like Paranormal, Fantasy etc but when it crosses the line to Horror I can't take it. My imagination is far too active and I start to see monsters, muderers etc everywhere I turn, just can't handle it.

This Friday's Question:
Buy or Borrow: Where do your books that
you read come from? The bookstore? The library? Do you prefer to own a
book, or have it on loan?

I think part of the reason I get most of my books from the library is because I'm not a re-reader. There are very few books that I would read again, so why keep them?
I buy most of my books, but I'm coming to realize that I'm really a book hoarder - I like acquiring books even though I may never read or like them. I'm slowly learning to let go of that habit - and hopefully, I use my library more too!
TGIF! As a librarian, I get almost everything I read from the library. I do buy once in a while -- I don't know if you can do this at your library, but we can order personal copies through our jobber, so when they come in, we just pay the library (which means free shipping, and usually a discounted price). :)

Annette - Makes sense, I re-read quite a lot especially if I love the book, but a lot of them are one time reads so library makes sense
Alexa - I seem to hoard books too, they're just so pretty. But you soon run out of space. Good luck kicking the habit!
Jo - No, my library doesn't do that, if I want to buy a book I have to go to the shops or online. Sounds like a good scheme though.
Welcome Totally Booked Solid :D
J.B - Welcome, hehe chicken does sound better. :)
I'm planning on starting my 1st Rachel Caine series soon.
