Book Blogger Hop: April 15th - 18th & Follow Friday (13)

Book Blogger Hop
Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and is an awesome way to for book bloggers to interact and find each other. Such a wonderful idea! There's a new question every week that all the participating blogs have to answer.

This week's question is:

"Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her."

My answer: I am currently reading 'Wings' by E.D Baker - Tamisin has always been different, she has pointy ears and can see things. Things other people can't, such as Goblins. Seen as an outcast and freak at school life is already hard, but then she sprouts wings from her back and realises she is adopted. With no idea who her real parents are, and being the interest of seemingly unfriendly Goblins, life isn't easy. but Tamisin is strong willed and sensible, she knows how to take care of herself, or so i think.

Follow Friday

Follow Friday is an opportunity to discover and follow other book related blogs! Want to join? Check it out at Parajunkee.

This week's question comes from Marie and Brie @ Romance Around the Corner

Q. Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.

My Answer: I'm lucky here, I work in a library and most of the staff love reading, so we always gossip about books we're reading.  Also my best friend is a great reader and we are often showing books to each other and sharing our opinions. Very often we will sit down for a catch up chat and end up discussing books we have recently read.

Happy Hopping, have a great weekend everyone!!!

I always think that I would love to work in a library.

Working at a library must be AWESOME. I plan on working there as soon as I'm old enough. I haven't read Wings yet so I'm interested to see what you think of it.

Hiya, just hopping on by. I don't have the luxury of lots of book lovers around me so I love checking out book blogs to see what people are loving.

Hopping through! Wow, 'Wings' by E.D Baker is just like 'Wings' by Aprilynne Pike, except that the fairy in Pike's story isn't an outcast & is pretty well accepted by her peers. I should check Baker's book out as a comparison.

Here's my Book Blogger Hop: 4/15-4/18 post!

The first part of Wings by Baker is very similar to the Aprilynne Pike book, but then detours down a very different route. but I must say I definitely enjoyed Pike's version better, this one just doesn't seem to compare.

Thanks to you all for stopping by.
Working in a library is fantastic, I absolutely love it, best job there is. :D
