Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and is an awesome way to
for book bloggers to interact and find each other. Such a wonderful
idea! There's a new question every week that all the participating blogs
have to answer.
This week's question
will be up soon!!!

This week's question comes from
Lesley @ My keeper shelf
Do you judge a book by it's cover?
My Answer: I try not too, but have to admit book covers play a vital role, it is of course often the first thing we see, so it has to draw us in, to make us want to pick it up. I am less likely to pick up a book with a boring cover, unless I previously know something about the story. It's a hard thing to admit, but I think we all do it. I only read 'Fallen' by Lauren Kate because of the cover - it's beautiful, but the story ended up disappointing me. It's always going to be a gamble.
Happy Hopping, have a great weekend everyone!!!

Pretty covers will catch my attention faster than ones without. But I have also learned to never buy a book just because of the cover. I'm already a follower! My FF is at Coffee Table Reviews
The title of the book is what draws me in (or turns me away from) a book, not the cover. I have very little interest in book covers. Strange, huh?
I think we can all agree that even the most beautiful book cover can't sell a book if the writing's not there. Book cover art may, at best, help steer me in the book's direction (especially if I'm in a book store) but it's not going to hypnotize me into buying it right then and there.
I expound on all the marketing qualities of a good book. Just follow me back to my book blog - http://www.howardsherman.net
Thank God it's Follow Friday!?

It definitely plays a vital role. I love pretty/interesting covers! But I love good books better.
