As we know Katniss will be played by Jennifer Lawrence, Peeta will be played by Josh Hutcherson and Gale will be played by Liam Hemsworth, but now we have two new kids on the blog.
Playing the District 11 pair are:
Dayo Okeniyias Thresh
They are both new to the acting game but I think they look great, can't wait to see them in action, especially Amandla, Rue is my favourite!

She looks exactly as I pictured! I haven't read the books in so long now, I can't even remember Thresh. I think it's time for a reread!
I'm actually happy with all of the cast, and I think I'm in the minority there. I just think that we can't judge until the movie is out.

im happier with this casting decision than i was with peeta or gale.... idk, i just cant see josh as peeta :( rue looks legit though.... i hope she pulls it off!

I heard they are considering Elizabeth Banks for Effie.
I am sooooo excited!!!
Elizabeth Banks has been confirmed as Effie!!! Not a bad choice methinks. :D
I'm holding out on the boys, they could be good if given the right make-up and direction.
Hehe, I would love to be in it, but the chance of that is like one in a billion.
