Teaser Tuesday: Last Bus To Woodstock

TEAser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, just do as following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • Be careful not to include any spoilers so as not to ruin the book for others!
Make sure to share the title and the author so other TT participants can add the book to their TBR piles!
My Teasers: Last Bus To Woodstock by Colin Dexter

"Happening to be on the scene of a murder ought surely to be a bit more exciting than this?"

"She weighed up the situation for several seconds before nodding her head, almost imperceptibly"

What are your teasers?

I guess if I have to think about it, happening upon a murder would be pretty traumatizing.

I did giggle a bot at it. :D

I'm enjoying it more than I thought, finding it hard to put down - surprising but good.

Yeah would have thought it would be traumatizing, but she's a bit bored with it all!!
