Actually I think that most people in the US still hav until the end of August... Thankfully I don't go back until September 4th but I'm still in high school and most colleges tend to start before that! Great list! I love A Study in Scarlet! And it's great that you mixed in some newer books like The Hunger Games and HP! Definite must reads!! Fly to the Sky @ Read Books and Live Green
I <3 HP! And the Hunger Games. I've yet to actually read Pride and Prejudice, but I LOVE the movie, so I can't wait to read the book (eventually)new follower!
Charlotte - thanks. Well, I love Sherlock Holmes and think it would be great to study - look into how Sherlock solves the crimes and his personality. A Midsummer Nights Dream- because it's the only Shakespeare I like! And it's funny. Pride and Prejudice - because I hated it at school, but since I've read it again I can appreciate the story and characters and the reflections of society on individuals.
Fly - thanks! I did think it was a bit early. Would hate to be back at school so early in August!
Thanks Book Cupid!
Hi Tina! Hope you enjoy it, I know what you mean about eventually though, took me ages to get to it.
Amber - I thought it would be a popular choice, it's pretty standard. Ignore the hype and read it because you want to. It's a marmite book - you either love it or hate it.

Ok. I'm all in for THG and Harry Potter, Teacher. Just be patient with me if my brain refuse to understand those classics. :D
