This week's question feature is from
Gizmo’s Reviews

Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?

My Answer: I think all books have potential to be great movies it just depends on the director and writer. I was very nervous about Hunger Games but they did a fantastic job! Each Harry Potter film made me nervous but they always ended up being amazing, so I have quite good faith in them. Of course there have been big disappointments so I would have to say I would be concerned about Divergent by Veronica Roth- it's such an amazing book in my view that it would be hard to live up to. They would have to go the extra mile with that one, but I would still be excited if they announced they were making it. :D

This Friday's Question:

Musical Stories: If you could read a book about any song,
which song would you love to see written down in story form?

My Answer: WOW, what a question. I love my music and have over 3,000 songs on my iTunes (I had more, but my computer crashed last year and had to be replaced and I lost all of my music and I'm still trying to get it all back) One of my favourite types of songs are once that tell a story - like Taylor Swift - all of hers tell a tale. So i would have to say one of hers or 'Goodbye' by Miley Cyrus. I actually wrote a short story based on this for a competition but I didn't get through. Would love to one day turn it into a longer, full length novel. Would be a bittersweet, heart breaking story but with a happy ending.

I can honestly say
You've been on my mind
Since I woke up today
I look at your photograph all the time
These memories come back to life
And I don't mind

I remember when we kissed
I still feel it on my lips
The time that you danced with me
With no music playing
I remember the simple things
I remember till I cry
But the one thing I wish I'd forget
The memory I wanna forget
Is goodbye

I woke up this morning
And played our song
And through my tears I sang along
I picked up the phone and then
Put it down
'cause I know I'm wasting my time
And I don't mind

I remember when we kissed
I still feel it on my lips
The time that you danced with me
With no music playing
I remember the simple things
I remember till I cry
But the one thing I wish I'd forget
The memory I wanna forget

Suddenly my cell phone's blowing up
With your ring tone
I hesitate but answer it anyway
You sound so alone
And I'm surprised to hear you say

You remember when we kissed
You still feel it on your lips
The time that you danced with me
With no music playing
You remember the simple things
We talk till we cry
You said that your biggest regret
The one thing you wish I'd forget
Is saying goodbye

Saying goodbye
Oh, Goodbye

Happy Hopping, have a great weekend everyone!!!

Hey there! New follower and subscriber :) I almost picked Divergent for my answer as well because I think a movie just won't be able to capture the greatness of the book! Great answer :) Happy reading!

I think I get nervous anytime I really love a book because I'm so invested. So I can see why Divergent would make you nervous.
