Have you heard of the saying look but don’t touch? It has
always been a saying that to me just invited you to do the exact opposite of
what it asked – but would you still do this if your life depended on it? Well
for Acacia Rose that is exactly what she does but it isn’t only her life she’s
risking it’s the life of every mortal on earth.
Any love but mine is Acacia’s story and it is far from a
simple one. Acacia is the youngest Erosian and she has been created in a last
ditch attempt to appease the God of love Eros; but he hates her, just like he
hates the two before her. Acacia is banished to the mortal realms to give
others the gift of love but she is never to forget that she belongs to Eros,
she is his, and he owns her body and soul. And it’s not like she forgets exactly that she’s his but
when she sees Josh she no longer cares who she is meant to belong to. Acacia
feels something awaken inside of her when she sees Josh something she cannot
and will not ignore. Especially when she looks at how the two Erosians before
her have ended up; Allana is love sick for Eros and will do anything he
commands and Amora is so hurt by his rejection that she is sleeping with
anything that moves! Acacia is determined not to end up like that and so follows
her heart to be with Josh.
Of course this doesn't go down well at all with Eros and his
punishment for her will tear her apart from everyone she has ever loved. Locked
in a time battle of imminent destruction Acacia is given one choice to make but
the result of her decision will be the demise of everything.
