FF (73) & TGIF (56)

Follow Friday is an opportunity to discover and follow other book related blogs! Want to join? Check it out at Parajunkee.

This week's is different, as it is teh official 100th Follow Friday a lot of blogs are hosting giveaways and we have been asked to feature a blogger we love.

I really don't know who to pick, I follow so many awesome blogs that I love.

I think I am going to go for:

Down The Rabbit Hole

Down the Rabbit Hole

This was one of the first blogs I ever followed and I love it. Amber is an awesome blogger, she always keeps her blog up to date, she posts great reviews, I always find cover reveals on her blog, and lots of cool fan items and merchandise that she's found and wants to share. She has also ran some pretty awesome features including 'The Write Stuff', where she gets advice from published authors about writing.

I love the theme of her blog and I always feel welcome there. Amber not only is a great blogger but she is a great person too, she always replies to her comments and has helped me out on a couple of occassions too.

So if you get the chance, head over to her blog and take a look around, maybe even say hi!

TGIF!

This meme is hosted by GReads!

This Friday's Question:
Cast Your Own Story: If you could use existing characters from some of your favorite books to create a new story, who would be in it?

My Answer: This sounds like a really cool concept! OK so lets start with the setting, Picture a large open countryside, green fields and wild flowers, there is a slight hill that when you get to the top you can see for miles in all directions, in one way you can see a large town, lots of buildings and a train line, if you listen closely you can hear it's horn as it passes. in the other direction a forest, dense with trees and undergrowth, anything could exist in there and it has a feeling of magic, the other two directions are more rolling green countryside. You feel like you are on the top of the world. A fresh summer breeze is blowing and the smell of grass and nature tickles your nose. You breath it in deeply and feel a sense of calm wash over you.

Introducing characters:

The love interest/boyfriend - I would love Mal from 'The Gathering Dark' aka 'Shadow & Bone' by Leigh Bardugo. the best friend, the protector, the one who will always be there to stand up for you. Sitting in the shade on a blanket just waiting for you to join him, but still slightly tense, almost expecting trouble and ready to leap into action.

The best friend - this is a harder choice actually, I think I would go with Grace from 'Shiver' by Maggie Stiefvater, she is quiet and shy and loves books, just like me, but knows how to have fun and seems like the sort of person that would open up and be great fun and a loyal friend once she got to know you.

The other friend - Claire from the Morganville Vampires -she kicks serious butt and still stays true to herself and really cares about her friends, she would be the one exploring the forest area and probably getting into trouble. The one we would go after to rescue, then probably realise we are in more trouble trying to rescue her than she was in the first place.

The villain - really not sure, someone magical/mystical, maybe a werewolf or something.

This is really fun actually, I could go on for a while but I will stop there.

So tell me, where would your story start and who would feature!

Happy Hopping, have a great weekend everyone!!!

Don't forget I'm running 2 giveaways, both international. 1x paperback of 'The Night Circus' and 1x e-book copy of 'Waterspell'. Click on titles to go to entry posts.
