Bk Blgr Hop: Sept 2nd-5th & FF (33) & TGIF (16) & RAK Sept

Book Blogger Hop
Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and is an awesome way to for book bloggers to interact and find each other. Such a wonderful idea! There's a new question every week that all the participating blogs have to answer.

This week's question is:
“What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? (If your next season is other than fall/autumn, tell us about it and what you are most looking forward to in your part of the world!)”

My Answer: I am stupidly excited about meeting Derek Landy - author of 'Skulduggery Pleasant' series. Book 6 'Death Bringer' has just come out and he's signing copies next Friday. Can't wait.
I am also looking forward to going to 'London MCM Comic Con Expo' in October.  I'm going with a group of friends and some of us are dressing up. If any of you know where I can get some custom wings made - I'm going as a Clockwork Fairy and need big black wings covered in cogs and gears - let me know if you have any ideas.

Follow Friday

Follow Friday is an opportunity to discover and follow other book related blogs! Want to join? Check it out atParajunkee.

This week's question feature is from
Lisa @ Lisa Loves Literature

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

Spoiler warning!!!

My Answer: Ooh that's a hard one. The only one that comes to mind is 'My Name Is Memory' by Ann Brashares - the book doesn't ever really go anywhere, it's one of those really open endings but nothing got resolved. You basically ended in the same position as you started. I remember finishing it and think 'I read 340 something pages for that???'

I wanted to either have them catch the enemy and finally be together or I thought her man was going to get killed. Would have been better than the 'one day we may be together' ending. grrr.

TGIF!

This meme is hosted by GReads!

This Friday's Question:

Making a Difference: Which book(s) would you put in the hands of

today's teenagers in hopes of making a difference in their lives?

My Answer: I'm struggling a bit with this one. I often finish books and think, 'they should make people read this' but now I'm sitting here I can't remember them.

Everyone should read Harry Potter - the lessons of friendship, trust, bravery, honour, etc is a great lesson for anyone.

Hangman by Julia Jarman shows the effects of Bullying well and drives the message home on it's effects.

I know there are loads out there but can't think of them right now.

RAK

RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) is hosted by Book Soulmates The idea is to send a fellow blogger a free gift just to be kind. You can send books, ebooks, bookmarks or other fun ideas. Surprise them and make them smile.

This is my fourth month of signing up, I haven't yet received anything but I have sent out a couple of books.

My wishlist can be viewed here on Amazon.

Are any of you participating? What's on your wishlist?

Happy Hopping, have a great weekend everyone!!!
